THE KING IS COMING SOON

AND HE WILL SUBDUE ALL NATIONS

The King Is Coming Soon: And He Will Subdue All Nations
In recent years, movements like “No Kings Day” have gained momentum, echoing a growing global sentiment that resists authority, crowns, and thrones. The cry of “no kings” is more than political rhetoric — it is a reflection of the spiritual condition long ago described in the book of Judges: “In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25). Humanity once again stands in an age of self-rule, where each nation, culture, and individual seeks to define truth apart from divine authority. Yet this very spirit of defiance is the prophetic signal that the age of human dominion is drawing to its close.

For six thousand years, mankind has been permitted to govern the earth according to his own wisdom — from Adam’s fall to our present day. But just as creation week culminated in a seventh day of rest, so too will history enter its own seventh-day rest, the Millennial Kingdom. If the biblical pattern holds true — and all signs point that it does — we are approaching the close of six millennia since Adam, placing us near the threshold of the year 2030–2031. This marks the completion of humanity’s allotted six thousand years and the dawn of the seventh millennium, when the King of Kings, Jesus the Messiah, will return to reign over all nations with a rod of iron commanding righteousness and peace.

While the world cries “No King!”, heaven declares, “Behold, your King comes!” The very rejection of kingship upon the earth sets the stage for the unveiling of the true King, who will establish His throne in Jerusalem and rule with divine justice. The kingdoms of this world — fractured, divided, and weary from self-governance — will soon be subdued and brought under the righteous scepter of Christ. The era of rebellion is ending; the reign of the Son of Man is at hand.

The Enemy Restrained and the Earth Restored
When the rightful King takes His throne, Satan — the deceiver of nations — will be locked away, just as foretold in Revelation 20:1–3. John writes that an angel will descend from heaven, bind the dragon, and cast him into the abyss so that “he should deceive the nations no more.” For six thousand years, humanity has lived under the shadow of that deception — kingdoms rising and falling under the influence of pride, greed, and rebellion. But when the chains are fastened and the adversary is silenced, the earth will at last experience what it was always meant to know: the peace of God’s unopposed rule.
With the deceiver restrained, creation itself will breathe again. The nations will be subdued, not through tyranny or conquest, but through the power of divine righteousness. As the prophet Isaiah declared, “He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares” (Isaiah 2:4). Under Christ’s governance, wars will cease, justice will prevail, and the knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

This moment fulfills the pattern established at the dawn of creation. On the sixth day, Adam was given dominion over all living creatures — a royal commission to govern the earth under God’s authority. Yet that dominion was lost when Adam fell, allowing corruption and disorder to spread across creation. But the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, will restore that dominion in its fullness. Having completed the redemptive work, He will rule the world in perfect harmony with the Father, just as Adam once ruled in harmony with God on the seventh day of rest.

Thus, what was begun in Genesis will be completed in Revelation: man’s lost dominion restored through the Son of Man. The circle of creation will close, and the earth will return to its intended order — a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and life under the eternal King.

Life in the Kingdom of the King
When Christ establishes His throne in Jerusalem and rules over the earth, the world will awaken to a reality unlike anything humanity has ever known. The long night of chaos, deception, and rebellion will give way to the dawn of divine order. For the first time since Eden, human society, nature, and the spiritual realm will function in perfect alignment under the Kingship of Jesus.

Harmony Between Heaven and Earth
The curse that entered creation through Adam’s disobedience will be lifted. The ground will once again yield its strength without resistance. The prophet Amos foresaw this when he wrote, “The plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed” (Amos 9:13). Agriculture will flourish beyond imagination — harvests continual, seasons fruitful, and the earth renewed.

Under Christ’s reign, the natural order will return to its pre-fall harmony. Isaiah declared that “the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox” (Isaiah 11:6–7). Predation, decay, and fear will vanish. The earth will become a living testimony of divine peace — the reflection of heaven manifest in soil, sky, and seed.

Righteous Government and Global Order
The nations, once driven by ambition and conflict, will be governed by righteousness. Jesus will reign as the King of Kings, and His resurrected saints — glorified and immortal — will serve as priests and governors throughout the earth. As written in Revelation 5:10: “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Governance will no longer be motivated by corruption, power, or wealth, but by wisdom and justice proceeding directly from the throne of Christ. The law of the Lord will go forth from Zion, and nations will willingly come to learn His ways. Disputes will be settled not by war or deception, but by truth spoken in righteousness.

Knowledge, Innovation, and Restoration
Human creativity will finally operate within its intended bounds — guided by the Spirit of God rather than the pride of man. Technology and science, purified from greed and exploitation, will advance in ways that restore rather than destroy creation. Every discovery will honor the Creator, every invention will serve life, and knowledge will no longer be used to wage war or oppress others.

Education will center upon the knowledge of the Lord, and the light of understanding will fill the earth. As Isaiah proclaimed, “The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

Worship and the Presence of the King
At the heart of the world’s renewal will be worship. All nations will come yearly to Jerusalem to honor the King and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles — the festival of divine dwelling (Zechariah 14:16). From every tribe and tongue, voices will unite in praise, acknowledging the One who redeemed mankind and restored creation.

There will be no more false religions, no more idols of gold or self. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord — not in forced submission, but in joyful recognition of truth. The presence of the King will be the light of the world, and His glory will dwell among His people.

The Seventh Day of History
Thus, the seventh millennium — the Sabbath of creation — will be a thousand-year celebration of divine rest and restoration. Humanity will live once again as Adam did before the fall, walking in fellowship with God, exercising dominion in harmony with His will. The cry of “No Kings” will be silenced forever, replaced by the eternal anthem:

“The Lord reigns; let the earth rejoice!” (Psalm 97:1)
